John is a sought-after Certified Orthotist in Alberta. He has been providing custom-made orthotics, splints and braces to Calgarians for close to twenty years.
His work has improved the lives of hundreds of people whether through pain reduction and/or sport performance improvement.

John graduated from the Orthotics & Prosthetics program at the George Brown College in 1981 and has been assisting at various clinics in addition to his own operation since then.

Topic: Offloading the High Risk Foot
Management of the diabetic foot is multifaceted and requires constant monitoring from patients and health care providers alike.
The alarmingly high rate of recurrence of ulcerations in the diabetic foot requires a change in our thinking and approach to patient care.
This presentation will provide various strategies for pressure reduction of high-risk foot conditions intended to reduce the risk of ulceration contributing towards the “prevention” of lower extremity amputation”.
