About Dr. Mark

Dr. Mark Hinkes, DPM - Keynote Speaker

Dr. Hinkes, (International Keynote Speaker and Author), comes to us from Nashville, Tennessee, where he has had a varied and extensive career in the field of podiatry.


Added to his podiatry career, Dr. Hinkes has provided consultation services for primary care, emergency care services and specialty service clinics.


He has been the Field Advisor for Quality Assurance to the Director of Podiatry Services at VACO where he provided advice and action plans for implementation to the Director of Podiatric Services on issues relating to quality assurance in service provision.

Prevention or delay of amputation has always been a part of Dr. Hinkes career.


He has served as Chairman of the PACT Program (Preservation-Amputation Care and Treatment Program) for the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System.


Dr. Hinkes’ love for his work has led to a commitment to pass along his knowledge within both the podiatric and nursing profession. He has held positions of Adjunct Associate Professor of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University, Florida, as well as clinical instructor in office and hospital operating room settings on osseous and soft tissue pathologies.


VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System has awarded Dr. Hinkes the Director’s Star for Keeping the Promise in both 2012 & 2014.
